WordPress CDN Integration with WP Fastest Cache

This article supports you on how to integrate our CDN into WordPress with the WP Fastest Cache plugin.

  1. It is recommended to backup your WordPress site and database.
  2. Create a push or pull zone in the KeyCDN dashboard. In most cases, a pull zone is recommended and all the assets will be fetched from the origin server.
  3. Log into your WordPress admin panel.
  4. Hover your mouse over “Plugins” and click “Add New”.
  5. In the “Search” box, type “WP Fastest Cache” and click “Search Plugins”.
  6. Click “Install Now.” A prompt dialog will open and ask if you are sure you want to install the plugin. Click “OK”, then after the plugin is installed, click “Activate Plugin”.
  7. Configure WP Fastest Cache with the following default settings (please note that the configuration for this part is not tested on all themes and websites, so certain websites might need a different configuration). wp fastest cache settings
  8. Go to CDN tab and click on “Other CDN Providers”. wp fastest cache cdn
  9. On this window, you will be entering your CDN URL which is provided once the Pull Zone was created. Followed by Origin URL which should match your domain name (Origin URL) that you used on your Pull Zone configuration. wp fastest cache cdn url
  10. Now chose which files you want CDN to serve from your website. wp fastest cache file types
  11. You can then specify specific sources to be delivered from the CDN instead of all static assets. To do this, add keywords contained in the source URL as necessary. wp fastest cache specify sources
  12. The next two windows acknowledges your CDN configuration and confirms that the CDN is integrated. wp fastest cache readywp fastest cache confirm
  13. You must then logout of your WordPress dashboard or check your site in incognito mode to verify that your website URLs have been rewritten to use the CDN URL.
