Account Notifications

Updated on February 25, 2020

Account notifications can be enabled through the KeyCDN dashboard to alert the account owner of successful login or an Origin URL change. The login notification sends an email to the account owner with information such as the username, login time, and the IP address of the user that logged in. The origin change notification sends the user an email providing them with the Zone that was modified, the changed Origin URL address, and the time that the change took place.

Enabling these notifications can help give users greater visibility into who is accessing the account and when changes are made to the Origin URL of a particular Zone. Enabling account notifications is easy and can be done in just a few steps.

  1. Log in to the KeyCDN dashboard.
  2. In the left navigation sidebar click Account and then General.
  3. Under Account details click Edit.
  4. Update Login Notification and/or Change Notification to enabled.
  5. Click Save.

Depending on what notifications were enabled, the account owner will receive an email each time someone logs in to the KeyCDN account and/or makes a change to the Origin URL of a Zone. If you would like to disable account notifications simply reverse the steps taken above.
