Account Notifications

Account notifications can be enabled via the KeyCDN dashboard to alert the account owner of successful login or an origin URL change. The login notification sends an email to the account owner with information such as the username, login time, and the IP address of the user that logged in. The origin change notification send the user an email providing them with the Zone that was modified, the changed origin URL address, and the time that the change took place.

Enabling these notifications can help give users greater visibility into who is accessing the account and when changes are made to the origin URL of a particular Zone. Enabling account notifications can be done quickly and easily.

  1. From the KeyCDN dashboard, navigate to Account Settings > General tab and select “Edit Account Details”.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, set the notification options to Enabled and click Save.

Now that both notification options are set to enabled, the account owner will receive an email each time someone logs into the KeyCDN account or makes a change to an origin URL. If you would like to disable either or both notifications, simply navigate back to the Edit Account Details page, set the option to Disabled and click Save.
